We have launched automatic L2TP VPN configuration for macOS and iOS.
This way you can easily configure your Apple devices by following these steps:

iOS:

To configure the L2TP connection, download the configuration profile from here: RoTunneling VPN Profile

After the profile downloads, open "Settings". Below your Apple ID you will find a new menu option named "Profile Downloaded". Tap it, then choose "Install" and follow the installation dialog.

After the profile is installed, open "Settings", then "VPN & Device Management", where you will find the VPN connections. Tap (i) on the right side of each connection, one by one, choose Edit, and enter your RoTunneling VPN username and password.

To connect, tap the desired connection and switch the top "Status" toggle on.

macOS:

To configure the L2TP VPN connection on macOS, download and install the connection profile from here: RoTunneling VPN Profile

After you click the downloaded profile, open "System Preferences", then "Profiles". You should see a new profile; choose "Install" and follow the installation dialog.

For easy access, open "System Preferences", then "Network", choose one of the installed VPN connections, and check "Show VPN status in menu bar."

To save your username and password in a connection, open "System Preferences", then Network, choose a VPN connection, and fill in "Account Name". Then open "Authentication Settings" and fill in "Password". To save the changes, press OK, then Apply. Do this for every VPN connection to store your credentials.
